Dr. Artz, Dr. Pasquarello and
John Artz DVM
Dr. John Artz was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Consequently, he is always happy to talk about his hometown. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. For six years now, Dr. Artz has served the people of Park City, and their pets, at Silver Creek Animal Clinic. He is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such an active community that shares his commitment to animal welfare. Dr. Artz lives in old town with his fiancé Shelley, his red heeler Cricket Dog, and his cats Oscar and Ziggy Marley. He continues to play ice hockey, his first love, as much as possible here in town, along with skiing, mountain biking and everything else the area has to offer. Or, he may “not” be found exploring the western mountains and deserts on his motorcycle.
Lisa M. Pasquarello VMD
Dr. Pasquarello is a graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. The Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree is a veterinary degree unique to the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Program. Dr. Pasquarello has also completed the Master’s program at Temple University in Human Physiology with an emphasis in cardiovascular physiology. Her career has been centered around surgery both soft tissue and orthopedic, emergency and critical care medicine and internal medicine. She spent the first nine years of her career in a referral veterinary hospital in Salt Lake City where she carried a heavy caseload. All of her early challenges in veterinary medicine have set the stage for her move to Silver Creek Animal Clinic in 2010 as a part of a partnership with Dr. Steins and Dr. Artz. Being a resident of Park City, it has been her dream to serve the community in which she lives.
In her spare time, Dr. Pasquarello is an avid runner, skier and you can find her on the local trails with her two Shiba Inu Stewie and Britney and her Labradoodle Loki.
“Animals are reliable, many full of love, true in their affections, predictable in their actions, grateful and loyal. Difficult standards for people to live up to.” ~ Alfred A. Montapert
Tyler Stiens DVM
Originally from Northwestern Missouri, Dr. Tyler Stiens, a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and United States Army, graduated from the University of Missouri in 1993 and moved to Utah. He joined Silver Creek Animal Clinic in 2007 and soon thereafter became a partner.
Dr. Stiens is very active in the outdoors. He enjoys time in the mountains and the desert especially when it involves his dogs, horses, falcon and always…good friends.
